5th Annual Singer Auction: Broadway's Greatest Hits

Prepare yourself for an emotional evening, as we celebrate the greatest hits of Broadway at the Fifth Annual Singer Auction on March 20, 2010.

This auction is an audience favorite, and it's easy to understand why. Husbands bid on their favorite ballads for their wives. Friends dedicate songs to each other. And unsuspecting audience members get pulled into musical pranks. Even little girls are known to get up and dance.

Best of all, you'll have the chance to bid on our fabulous guests singers, choose the song they sing, and who they'll sing it to.

This year's auction will feature Broadway's greatest hits, with your favorite songs from The Jersey Boys, Annie, Hairspray, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Guys and Dolls, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret, The Lion King, Damn Yankees, Carousel, and more! We'll even have an introduction to the catchy tunes from one of this summer's operas, The Barber of Seville! See the full song list!

There will also be a silent auction with lots of great offerings. The silent auction will start at 6 pm and winners will be announced during the singer auction.

For just twenty bucks you can watch an entire evening of excitement unfold. Or you can spend a little more by bidding and becoming a part of the action.

Tickets are available at the Sugar Creek Box Office at Farmer's Insurance, 136 E. Walnut St., Watseka, IL 60970. Call (815) 515-5836 or stop in Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Say Hello to Year 8!
Can you believe it? We're entering our 8th season of bringing opera and the arts out of the city and into the country. With ticket sales to the festival only covering about one-third of our expenses, we have to fundraise each year to make each summer's festival a reality.

This singer auction will help move us toward our goal, but your individual or corporate donation could help push us over the top. See how you can donate today!
